PZMS building / Construction Progress
The Preclinical Center for Molecular Signal Processing (PZMS) building is built on the Campus Homburg between the research building CIPMM and the new forensic medicine building. Construction work started in March 2020 and is expected to be completed in fall 2022. It will have a floor space of 4,500 m² and will host 10 working groups with approx. 174 employees under one roof. Research at the PZMS aims to identify and validate membrane proteins as novel targets for pharmacological treatment of genetic diseases of human body homeostasis.
